Cannobio is the most characteristic centre on the Piedmontese shore of the Lake Maggiore. It has maintained intact its natural, historical and architectonic heritage over the years. Therefore today it offers the best lacustro and mountain scenes of the entire Verbania area.
The opportunities for fun days out are endless: walks in the mountain both on foot as well as by bicycle, boat trips, opportunity to practice water sports on the Lake (Surfing, Kitesurf, waterskiing, sailing, underwater dives) as well as river sports (kayak, fishing).
Of course the beaches are particularly appreciated, both those around the Lake as well as those less known but no less beautiful those along the Cannobino Torrent.
In the years 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2007 and 2010 Cannobio took the prestigious environment of the FEE, the Blue Flag, thanks to an excellent service and water purification to a specific plan for waste collection.
